Super clean rooms and friendly staff

which already had the heater going, so it was toasty warm on entry. My room was super clean and very nice for the $. Fridge, TV, toaster, plates & cutlery etc, all included in my room. I was super pleased with this gem of a find in a rural town as I travel for work. Will certainly be back. Thanks Bev, was wonderful to meet you :)

Great Stay

We stayed for 3 nights with family, Bev was very welcoming, the room was clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay in a quiet location. Close to all restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay again.

Great Value

I enjoyed my stay at the recently renovated Wattle Grove Motel. Our room was clean and modern and the staff friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated the staff turning on our room air conditioning and electric blanket each night. This gave us a warm room to return to, late at night when it was cold (9°C) and raining.

The first weekend out of Melbourne after the lockdown disappeared

I went up to Maryborough, picked up a friend then went to Moonambel, visited important people in the cemetery, rang the motel mid Saturday arvo and got the only room left, it was waiting for me, Bev was so helpful and friendly as were other people we met, the room was very nice, very comfy bed and great shower, next time I head that way I will certainly be staying at this place just for the friendly owner, who happens to remember me from yonks ago, brilliant place, can't recommend it enough

Excellent Service

Extremely helpful staff. Very friendly and cooperative. Made good suggestions of what to do and where to go while in town. Room was clean and neat. Plenty of milk was left for us in the fridge. There were cups, bowls and plates all available for use. Heater worked really well - great in winter. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful Villa

We recently stayed in the 3 bedroom Villa at Wattle Grove Motel. It was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for our two night stay. Extremely clean and well presented, and plenty of room for our family of 6. Would definitely recommend

Great Motel

We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend. We were upgraded at no extra cost. The owner could not do enough for make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Room was spotless and cleaned each day and having cutlery and crockery, toaster and microwave was a bonus. We would definitely recommend staying here and will be back again.
